The Sports Inquirer spoke with Atlanta Dream head coach Michael Cooper for an exclusive interview following his team’s practice on July 7.

Topics included the Dream’s 77-64 home win over the Seattle Storm on July 5, his team’s defensive effort, the return of Sancho Lyttle from an international commitment and incorporating Elizabeth Williams and Layshia Clarendon into the starting lineup.

Atlanta returns to action on July 8 at home against Dallas.
