The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia Tech volleyball player Maddie Tippett before her team’s practice on Oct. 29 for an exclusive interview. The sophomore libero/defensive specialist had five digs in the Yellow Jackets’ 3-0 ACC home win over Miami on Oct. 27.

Topics included Georgia Tech’s six-match winning streak, all in ACC play, controlling the defensive sets of the team, assisting the outsides and middles on the offensive attack and Tippett’s second year of collegiate volleyball. Georgia Tech returns to action at North Carolina on Nov. 1.
