The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia women’s tennis head coach Jeff Wallace for an exclusive interview May 12. Topics included the Bulldogs advancing to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament following a victory over Wake Forest, the form of All-SEC performers Morgan Coppoc, Lea Ma, Meg Kowalski, SEC Player of the Year Katarina Jokic as well as player Marta Gonzalez. We also discussed the 2021 campaign to date, the Bulldogs’ 21-match winning streak, Wallace’s journey from Portland, Oregon to his 36th year as head coach of the program and Georgia preparing to face Virginia in its NCAA Tournament match on May 16.
