
The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State football player Jamari Thrash for an exclusive interview Sept. 8. The redshirt sophomore wide receiver had a game-high 87 receiving yards on seven catches in the Panthers’ season-opening loss to Army Sept. 4. Topics included the team rebounding from the loss, Thrash working his way into the starting lineup after being a reserve the previous season, maturation as a player on and off the field, working alongside fellow receivers Sam Pinckney and Cornelius McCoy and the Panthers preparing to visit North Carolina in their next contest Sept. 11.
